Week 5

This week's assignment was about an environmental portrait with a mug shot. I chose Izzy Bean as my subject and she is a student at Oregon State University. 

                                                                                                                                      

                                        

These photos of Izzy were taken at Waverly Park in Albany, OR, February 12th, 2023. Izzy loves the violin because she has had it for a very long time and it's become a part of her identity. What she likes about being a violinist is that she has an ability to do something not many people can do and that it can bring a certain aspect to social situations. An example she gave is that if you are just hanging around with friends they could all sing songs together while she plays the violin. She has played and continues to play the violin professionally, especially with the upcoming summer months as those are typically the wedding season she states. Her favorite song to play is anything Irish because her great grandma was a violinist and passed down a book of Irish tunes and it is the only thing Izzy has of hers.
